Christina Jones’s Biography
Hi! My name is Christina Jones, but the students call me Ms. Jones. I am originally from Maryland, but moved to Charlotte to go to college. I received my undergrad degree in Baking and Pastry and Food Service Management at Johnson and Wales University. After realizing that wasn’t 100% my passion, I found an after school program working with students and fell in love with the profession.
I joined the Unity team in 2017 as an Instructional Assistant and went back to school to get my Graduate Certificate in Teaching at UNCC. This past school year I completed my student teaching while full time teaching second grade and have officially earned my certificate in teaching! This year I will continue to teach second grade and I cannot be more excited!
I recently got married and could not be more excited! When my husband and I aren’t at home relaxing or playing with our two dogs, we love to have game nights with friends and go to the movies! I love to read and also I love to do crafts, especially creating new things for the house!
