Katelyn Dean’s Biography
Hi! My name is Ms. Katelyn Dean. I am originally from Greenville, South Carolina, but I’ve been living in Charlotte for 22 years now. I am a graduate of Gardner-Webb University, where I received my bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I am going into my seventh year of teaching which consists of teaching 1st grade for five years and 2nd grade for one year. Here at Unity I’ve taught 1st grade for two years and this year I will be teaching 4th grade! I am very excited about this new journey! When I am not working, I enjoy being outdoors, hanging out with friends and family, and riding my motorcycle! I own a Kawasaki Ninja and love riding it as much as I can. Throughout the school year you may see me on it if I get the opportunity.
